Drug Formulation

Raw Ophiopogon tuber (remove the core, wash thoroughly, chop finely, grind into a paste, and squeeze out the juice) 1 he; white glutinous rice (rinsed clean) 2 he; coix seed (sorted and cleaned, free of soil) 1 he; raw Rehmannia root (plump variety) 4 liang (wash thoroughly, chop finely, grind into a paste, and squeeze out the juice) 3 he; fresh ginger juice 1 he.

Instructions for Use

Using 3 zhan of water, first boil the glutinous rice and coix seeds until the liquid has boiled 100 times. Next, add the rehmannia root, ophiopogon, and ginger juice—all mixed together—and simmer until it becomes a thin porridge. Take it warm on an empty stomach. If vomiting and nausea persist, prepare and consume another portion in the evening.
