Drug Formulation

He Shou Wu (1 jin each of red and white varieties; soak in rice washing water, scrape off the skin with a bamboo knife, and chop finely), half a jin of Achyranthes root (steamed three times in a clay pot with He Shou Wu and 5 sheng of black beans,steamed three times in a clay pot), half a jin of Poria Sclerotium (mixed with milk), Poria (1 jin of red Poria, soaked in cow’s milk overnight; 1 jin of white Poria, soaked in cow’s milk overnight), half a jin of Goji Berries (soaked in wine, steamed, and sun-dried), half a jin of Angelica Root (soaked in wine overnight and sun-dried), 5 liang of Polygonum Multiflorum (roasted until golden),Cuscuta seed, half a jin (soaked in wine, steamed, and sun-dried).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 50 pills per dose: on an empty stomach with wine; at noon with ginger soup; and in the evening with salted soup—three times daily; alternatively, all doses may be taken with wine.
