Formulas Name : Poria and Almond Decoction

Chinese Name : 茯苓杏仁煎

Drug Formulation

4 liang of Poria, 4 liang of Apricot Kernels, 3 liang of Tangerine Peel, 1 sheng of Perilla Seeds (crushed), 3 liang of Licorice (roasted), 4 liang of Peony Root, 3 liang of White Front, 3 liang of Schisandra Berries, 5 he of Fresh Ginger Juice, 6 he of Honey, and 2 sheng of Bamboo Sap.

Cut the ingredients as directed.

For chest fullness and tightness.

Instructions for Use

Boil all the herbs in 9 sheng of water; reduce to 3 sheng, strain out the residue, then add bamboo sap, ginger juice, honey, and other ingredients, stirring well. Simmer over low heat until reduced to 4 sheng. Take 4 he per dose, twice daily and once at night.

Note

Avoid seaweed, Chinese cabbage, and vinegar-based foods.
