Drug Formulation

1 liang of Poria, 1 liang of Coptis, 1 fen of winter mallow seeds, 1 fen of Xusui seeds, half a liang of rhubarb, half a liang of apricot kernels, and 3 fen of Pinellia.

Coarsely chop the ingredients to the size of sesame or bean seeds, then combine them.

Instructions for Use

Take half liang per dose; add 2 zhan of water, decoct until reduced to 1 zhan, strain thoroughly, remove the residue, and take while warm. If relief is not achieved within about half a day, administer another dose; continue until the chest feels relieved and bowel movements occur.
