Processing

If any residue remains, grind it again, then return it to the silk bag and shake until completely extracted. Place the mixture in a porcelain basin, expose it to the sun during the day and to the night dew until dawn, then discard the water. Stir it with fresh well water, expose it to the sun again, and by the next morning, replace the water and stir once more.Repeat this process for 5 days in spring, 3 days in summer, 7 days in autumn, and 10 days in winter. Drain the water and sun-dry until it resembles jade slivers. Crush into a fine powder, then mix with clear congee made from glutinous rice flour to form pills the size of mung beans.
