Formulas Name : Snake-and-Turtle Wine

Chinese Name : 欱蛇龟酒

Drug Formulation

1 Yu Snake-Turtle, 5 jin of glutinous rice (steamed to make fermented rice), and 2 dou of good wine.

*Shenghui*, Volume 67.

Processing

Finely chop the turtle, mix it with the fermented rice, and place both into a wine jar; seal tightly for 7 days.

Benefits

For unbearable pain from fractures or sprains.

Instructions for Use

Take one warm medium-sized cupful at a time, 3–5 times daily.
