Drug Formulation
2 liang of Chuanxiong, 2 liang of Bai Zhi, 2 liang of Kushen, 2 liang of Huangdan, 2 liang of pine resin, 2 liang of Da Huang, 2 mu of musk, 1 piece of Fu Zi, 100 grains of Sichuan pepper, half a liang of Dang Gui, 3 liang of beeswax, 30 grains of Croton seeds, and 1 areca nut.

Processing
Grind the ingredients into a fine powder. For each use, soak the powder in good wine overnight, then remove it. Next, heat lard in a cauldron, add 1 liang of sesame oil, and simmer together for 5 to 7 boils;Next, add pine resin and allow it to dissolve completely; then add the powdered herbs and simmer for twenty boils. Strain out the residue, then add the beeswax and simmer until it is completely melted. Add one liang of starch and boil down to a paste. When it has cooled to a warm temperature, place the musk on a damp cloth lined with an oiled cloth, pour the mixture over it, cover with a basin, and let it sit overnight. Transfer the mixture to a porcelain box for storage.
