Drug Formulation

3 liang of Shao Shi, 3 liang of Aconite, 3 liang of Horsefly Larvae, 1 liang of Rhubarb, 1 liang of Asarum, 1 liang of Dried Ginger, 1 liang of Scutellaria, 2 liang of Peony, 2 liang of Trichosanthes Root, 2 liang of Salvia, 2 liang of Hematite, 2 liang of Beetle Larvae, 10 jujubes, 2 sheng of Peach Kernels, 1 jin of Achyranthes, and 4 liang of Mirabilite.

Instructions for Use

Coarsely crush the ingredients. Soak them in 5 sheng of wine and 9 sheng of water overnight. The next morning, decoct until reduced to 4 sheng, strain out the residue, then add Pu Xiao and Xiao Shi and melt them completely. Divide into 4 doses, taken at intervals of about the time it takes to cook a meal. After recovery, eat yellow duck soup and avoid exposure to drafts.
