Drug Formulation

Arsenic (high-quality, lump form with a fine, milky texture) half liang; beeswax half liang.

Processing

First, melt the beeswax; then add the arsenic. Stir with seven willow twigs, one at a time; replace each twig as soon as its tip turns charred. When the mixture is ready for use, remove it from the heat and immediately roll it into pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill per dose; for dysentery, swallow with cold water; for spleen pain, do the same; for lower back pain, swallow with cold wine. Take before meals. For children, make the pills the size of a millet seed; take 1 pill per dose, with the same method of administration as above.
