Formulas Name : Wuyao and Agarwood Decoction

Chinese Name : 乌药沉香汤

Drug Formulation

Wuyao 1 liang, Agarwood 5 qian, Ginseng 3 fen, Licorice 4 fen.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a powder.

Benefits

For all types of cold-induced qi stagnation and sudden abdominal pain; as well as women’s blood and qi attacking the heart, causing stomach and abdominal distension and pain.

Instructions for Use

Take 5 fen per dose; add a pinch of salt and one slice of fresh ginger, then decoct in water and drink. Alternatively, add Xiangfu, Sha Ren, Chen Pi, or Ban Xia; or add Zhi Ke, Shen Qu, Mai Ya, E Zhu, Qing Pi, or Mu Xiang—add as appropriate.
