Drug Formulation

4 liang of raw Rehmannia root (boiled in water until half-cooked, then add 1 large bowl of wine; boil further until reduced to a paste, steam, sun-dry, and grind into powder), 4 liang of Angelica sinensis (tossed with wine, sun-dried, and stir-fried), 3 liang of white peony root (stir-fried with wine), 2 liang of Huai Achyranthes root (stir-fried), 1 liang 5 qian of Chuanxiong (stir-fried with wine),3 liang of Leonurus seed (stir-fried), 3 liang of Eucommia bark (stir-fried in salt water), 4 liang of Atractylodes macrocephala (stir-fried in earth), 4 liang of Salvia miltiorrhiza (stir-fried in wine), 4 liang of Cyperus rotundus (mixed with 1 liang each of vinegar, wine, ginger juice, and salt water; steamed over cooked rice, then sun-dried and stir-fried).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder and mix thoroughly; separately, take 8 liang of motherwort, boil it in water to make 1 bowl of decoction, add refined honey, and form into pills the size of a tung tree seed.
