[Operational Procedures] The practitioner uses the thumbs of both hands in opposition to the remaining four fingers, applying coordinated force to grasp the supports area or acupoints on the patient’s abdomen, repeatedly lifting and releasing. This is called “Abdominal Grasping Technique.” If rotational kneading is performed repeatedly during the lifting and releasing process, it is called “Abdominal Grasping-Kneading Technique.
