Chinese Name : 杏骨膏

Drug Formulation

Half a liang of apricot kernels (soaked in hot water, skins removed), half a liang of marrow from a pig’s cheekbone.

Source

Formula from *Shenghui* (Vol. 82); name cited in *Pujifang* (Vol. 360).

Processing

First grind the apricot kernels into a paste, then mix in the bone marrow until well blended.

Benefits

For children with swollen navels oozing fluid that has not healed for a long time.

Instructions for Use

Apply to the center of the navel.
