Drug Formulation

2 liang of white alum (ground), 1 liang of cockscomb (dried), half a liang of black dragon’s tail, 4 liang of green tangerine peel (washed, pith removed, and roasted), and 4 liang of Wulingzhi (roasted).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder. Take half of the powder and mix it with 2 sheng of rice vinegar; simmer over low heat until it becomes a paste. Allow to cool, then mix with the remaining half of the powder to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Take 30 pills per dose, washed down with aged rice water on an empty stomach.
