Drug Formulation

Magnolia Bark (coarse bark removed, roasted with ginger juice) 3 fen, Rhubarb (chopped, stir-fried) 2 liang, Fructus Aurantii (pith removed, roasted with wheat bran) half a liang, Licorice (roasted) half a liang.

Grind the above ingredients into a coarse powder.

Benefits

Indicated for stomach fullness and abdominal distension, undigested food and drink, yellow urine with internal heat, nasal congestion and epistaxis, a crooked mouth and tight lips, urinary retention, and difficult bowel movements.

Instructions for Use

Take 5 qian per dose, boil with 1.5 zhan of water until reduced to 1 zhan, strain, and take warm on an empty stomach. Continue until bowel movements are restored.
