Chinese Name : 明水膏
Drug Formulation
Half a liang of Aconite (peeled and pitted, used raw), half a liang of rock salt, half a liang of white alum, 1 piece of Aconite Root (peeled and pitted, used raw, coarsely chopped), half a fen of frankincense, 1 fen of copper green, 1 fen of realgar, and 1.5 liang of Coptis (stems removed).

Coarsely chop the ingredients into pieces the size of sesame or bean seeds.

Instructions for Use
Take 5 zhan of well water, place it in a porcelain or stone pot, and simmer over low heat until reduced to 7 fen. Filter through muslin to remove the dregs, then add half a qian of ground borneol. Apply this mixture before bedtime.
