Drug Formulation

Xiangfu 1 jin 4 fen (pounded smooth with salt, wine, and children’s urine; soaked separately in human milk and rice vinegar for 3 days each, then sun-dried), Danggui (soaked in wine) 4 liang, Shu Di (steamed with wine, mixed with ginger juice) 4 liang, Chuanxiong 4 liang, Baishao (stir-fried with wine) 4 liang, Baizhu (stir-fried with earth) 2 liang,Eupatorium leaves 2 liang, aged tangerine peel 2 liang, Phellodendron bark (fried in wine) 1 liang, licorice (fried in wine) 1 liang, donkey-hide gelatin (steamed with wine until dissolved) 1 liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder; mix in the dissolved ejiao, then form into pills using a wine paste.
