Drug Formulation

5 qian of Angelica sinensis, 5 qian of Paeonia lactiflora, 5 qian of Ligusticum chuanxiong, 5 qian of Cimicifuga heracleifolia, 5 qian of Pueraria lobata, 5 qian of Glycyrrhiza uralensis, 1 liang of tender Lithospermum erythrorhizon down, and 1 liang 2 qian of cinnabar.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill per dose, washed down with a mixture of ice, snow, and rainwater; if these are unavailable, river water may be used, or 1 spoonful of glutinous rice soup may also be used. May be taken up to 5 days after the onset of symptoms.
