Drug Formulation

Astragalus (honey-fried) 1 liang, Poria (with spirit) 1 liang, Ginseng 1 liang, Sour Jujube Seeds (roasted) 1 liang, Prepared Rehmannia 1 liang, Polygala (core removed, roasted) half a liang, Schisandra berries half a liang, Cypress Seeds half a liang (ground separately).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed, and coat them with cinnabar.

Take 30 pills per dose, washed down with rice water or warm wine as desired; for unceasing night sweats, take with barley bran decoction; for restless dreams and seminal emission, take with ginseng and dragon bone decoction; for sudden, severe chest pain, take with frankincense decoction; for muscle heat and restlessness due to deficiency, take with Ophiopogon decoction; for hemoptysis, take with ginseng and Selaginella decoction; for bloody stools, take with Angelica and Sanguisorba decoction;for hematuria, take with Red Poria Decoction; for stroke with aphasia, take with Peppermint and Calamus Decoction; for wind-epilepsy with drooling, take with Fangfeng Decoction.
