Chinese Name : 黄药针砂丸

Drug Formulation

4 liang of cinnabar, 4 liang of green tangerine peel, 4 liang of aged tangerine peel, 4 liang of dried lacquer, 4 liang of black pharbitis, 4 liang of white alum, 4 liang of green alum, 4 liang of greenish-blue alum, and half a jin of Atractylodes lancea (soaked in rice wash).

Processing

Exclude half a jin of Atractylodes from the above ingredients; for the remaining four ingredients, use 2 bowls of rice vinegar. Boil the three types of alum together with Cinnabar until the vinegar has evaporated. Grind into a fine powder, then form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using vinegar paste.
