Drug Formulation

Rhubarb 5 qian, Gardenia 5 qian, Forsythia 5 qian, Croton seed 4 qian (peeled), Apricot kernel 4 qian (peeled and tips removed; these two ingredients are stir-fried with wheat bran), Fried wheat bran 4 qian, Bitter clove 1 qian, Garlic 1 liang (single clove, core removed; place the garlic in a fire to burn off its pungency), Datura seed powder 2 qian.

Instructions for Use

For severe cases, take 1 copper coin per dose; for mild cases, half a coin. Mix with unboiled water and swallow. If the patient does not vomit, the condition is treatable; recovery occurs upon sweating.
