Drug Formulation

2 liang of pine resin (boiled with scallion leaf juice), 1 liang 5 qian of frankincense, 1 liang 5 qian of myrrh, 1 liang 5 qian of catechu, 1 liang 5 qian of dragon’s blood, 1 liang 5 qian of asafoetida, 1 liang 5 qian of camphor (added later), 1 liang 5 qian of dragon bone, 1 liang 5 qian of mercury oxide (added later), 1 liang 5 qian of yellow camphor, 1 liang 5 qian of white camphor, and 3 liang of agarwood.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Take 1 jin of pork lard, simmer until the dregs are removed, then add the yellow and white camphor and melt them. Next, add the remaining ingredients, stir until well blended, and allow to solidify.
