Chinese Name : 多皮饮

Drug Formulation

3 qian of Lycium bark, 3 qian of Acanthopanax bark, 5 qian of white mulberry bark, 2 qian of dried ginger peel, 3 qian of Areca nut peel, 5 qian of white fresh bark, 3 qian of powdered Moutan bark, 5 qian of red Poria peel, 5 qian of winter melon peel, 5 qian of mung bean peel, and 3 qian of Sichuan hibiscus bark.

The Multi-Bark Decoction is primarily indicated for intractable chronic urticaria that frequently recurs, characterized by skin rashes during episodes, with dampness predominating over heat, and is suitable for patients in whom Ephedra-based formulas have proven ineffective.
