Processing
First, burn the Aconite, Sichuan Aconite, dried mulberry ears, and decayed mulberry wood together until they turn to ash. Mix this ash with the mineral lime, mulberry wood ash, and buckwheat straw ash. Place the mixture into a wine strainer, plug the opening with a palm fiber stopper, and pour 1 dou of water over it. Bring to a boil, then simmer over low heat until the liquid is reduced to one-tenth of its original volume (i.e., from 10 bowls to 1 bowl). Store the resulting ointment in a thick, sturdy porcelain container and seal it tightly.
Benefits
Effective for tumors, scrofula, boils, and anal fistulas.
Instructions for Use
To use, mix with mineral lime to form a paste and apply it to the top of the tumor. Cover the medication with several layers of damp paper; if the paste is not yet dry, there is no need to apply the paper. If left for a long time and the paste dries out, moisten it with saliva and reapply.Wait until the affected area has turned completely black and decayed, then scrape it off with a knife or scissors. If all the decayed tissue has not been removed, repeat the process of applying the paste and scraping. If the patient is afraid of scraping, apply Jingjin Powder instead; the decayed tissue will gradually rot away on its own without the need for a needle or scalpel. Afterward, apply a medicated plaster until all decayed tissue has been completely removed.
