Drug Formulation

Half a jin of pine needles, half a jin of lotus seed grass, half a jin of horse-mane ointment (refined into a paste), half a jin of Chinese chive roots, 2 liang of Schisandra berries, 1 liang of Fangfeng (with the root tip removed), 1 liang of Angelica dahurica,half liang of Magnolia Flower, half liang of Sichuan Cimicifuga, half liang of Indigo, half liang of Ligusticum, half liang of Angelica Pubescens, half liang of Mulberry Parasite, half liang of Patchouli, half liang of Agarwood, and half liang of Linglingxiang.

Processing

Finely chop the above ingredients. First, take 2 jin of white mulberry root bark and boil it in 8 sheng of water until reduced to 5 sheng; strain out the residue. Then add 1 sheng of bamboo sap to moisten the herbs. After leaving it overnight, add 2 sheng of lard and simmer until the Angelica dahurica turns yellow, forming a paste. Strain out the residue and store the paste in a porcelain container.

Instructions for Use

Apply topically 3–5 times daily.
