Drug Formulation
4 liang of white bark from the north-facing side of an oak tree, 4 liang of white peach root bark (finely chopped), 1 liang of hedgehog skin ash, 1 liang of human hair ash, and 5 sheng of hemp seed juice.

Instructions for Use
First, boil the oak bark and peach root bark in 5 zhan of water; strain to obtain 2 zhan of concentrated decoction, then mix it with the hemp seed juice. For each dose, take 1 zhan of the warm decoction and mix in 2 qian bi of ash from tangled hair and hedgehog skin. Have the patient eat a light breakfast and take the mixture. Shortly thereafter, use a basin of water and a chicken feather to induce vomiting into the water; all gu toxins, such as “ox saliva,” will be expelled.
