Processing
Finely chop the above ingredients, soak in 8 bowls of water for one day, then decoct until slightly dry. Add 16 jin of genuine sesame oil and continue decocting until the herbs such as Sichuan mountain tortoise shell turn charcoal black; strain out the residue. Add human hair and decoct until it becomes invisible and does not disperse when dropped into water. Then add yellow丹, stirring gently in a clockwise direction, and decoct until a drop of the mixture forms a bead. Finally, add the following ingredients: 2 centipedes,4 liang of black snake meat, 1 liang each of Sichuan Aconite, Wild Aconite, Aconite Root, and White Aconite Root, and 2 liang each of Acanthopanax Bark and Redbud Bark. Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, add to the ointment, and stir frequently in a clockwise direction until well blended. Once the heat has subsided, add the following ingredients: 1 liang each of Agarwood and Realgar, 2 liang each of Southern Frankincense, Dragon’s Blood, Mercury Oxide, Cinnabar, and Dragon Bone, 4 liang each of Frankincense and Myrrh,5 qian of musk and 1 liang of asafoetida (dissolve separately in water before adding to the ointment). Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix thoroughly into the ointment while stirring in one direction to remove the heat toxicity. Store in a porcelain container.
