Drug Formulation

Goji berries, Schisandra berries, Rubus fruit, Dodder seed (soaked in wine), Jusheng seeds (roasted, hulled), raw Rehmannia root (washed with wine), prepared Rehmannia root (washed with wine), Asparagus root (core removed), Ophiopogon tuber (core removed), Ginseng,Stalactite Powder, Deer Antler (roasted with butter), Chrysanthemum Flowers (washed with wine), Cistanche, and Chinese Yam (roasted)—each in equal parts; Agarwood (ground separately to form a coating).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. When “Cai Jiang Xue Dan” (i.e., the first menstrual blood of a virgin) is collected, form it into pills the size of a Paulownia seed and coat them with agarwood powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 50 pills per dose on an empty stomach, washed down with three sips of wine; if “Descending Snow Elixir” is unavailable, the pills may also be made with refined honey.
