Drug Formulation

1 liang 5 qian of Atractylodes lancea, 2 liang of pine resin, 5 liang of large maple seeds, 2 liang 5 qian of gallnut, 1 liang 5 qian of Sophora flavescens, 1 liang 5 qian of Phellodendron amurense, 1 liang 5 qian of Saposhnikovia divaricata, 5 qian of white fresh bark, and 2 liang of crane lice.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 sheets of straw paper, place 2 qian of the medication on top, roll them into strips, light them, and direct the smoke toward the affected area for 10–15 minutes each time. The dosage may be adjusted based on the extent of the skin lesion; generally, 3–4 qian (2 qian burns for about 10 minutes) is used, twice daily. The temperature should be adjusted according to the patient’s tolerance.
