Drug Formulation

5 liang of peach kernels (soaked in hot water, with skin and tips removed; ground with water and filtered to yield 3 sheng), 2 liang of Cyperus rotundus (roasted until yellow), 3 liang of softshell turtle shell (nine-ribbed, roasted with vinegar until yellow), 1 liang of wood fragrant, 1 liang of areca nut, and 1 liang of green tangerine peel (pulp removed, stir-fried).

Processing

First, extract the juice from the peach kernels and simmer over low heat until reduced to 2 sheng. Then add 1 sheng of good-quality vinegar and continue simmering until it becomes a paste. Mix the remaining five ingredients, finely ground into powder, with the paste and roll into pills the size of a tung seed.
