Instructions for Use

Line the bottom of a steamer with fresh leaves of these four herbs, steam thoroughly, then remove and sun-dry. For every 1 jin of rhubarb, use 7 qian of each of the remaining herbs. For the first steaming, use lotus root juice; for the second, sugarcane juice; for the third, Red Poria Decoction; for the fourth, Alisma Decoction;the fifth time with Poria Decoction, the sixth with Fresh Plantain Seed Decoction, the seventh with Sichuan Phellodendron Decoction, the eighth with Sichuan Magnolia Decoction, the ninth with Roasted Atractylodes Decoction, the tenth with Peppermint Decoction, the eleventh with Job’s Tears Decoction, the twelfth with Angelica Decoction, the thirteenth with Chinese chive juice,14th time: Peony Bark Decoction; 15th time: Akebia Decoction; 16th time: Sichuan Dendrobium Decoction; 17th time: Forsythia Decoction; 18th time: Dried Tangerine Peel Decoction; 19th time: Pinellia Decoction; 20th time: Sichuan Smilax and Dioscorea Decoction; 21st time: Lycium Bark Decoction; 22nd time: Scrophularia Decoction; 23rd time: Anemarrhena Decoction; 24th time: Licorice Decoction.For each of the above, mix the ingredients, steam until thoroughly cooked, sun-dry, and grind into a fine powder. Form into pills using yellow cow’s milk, pear juice, aged wine, honey, and water. Take 2 to 3 qian per dose; reduce to half for children. Take with boiled water.
