Drug Formulation
2 liang of Coptis, 2 liang of Scutellaria (wine-fried),Dried Tangerine Peel 5 qian, Scrophularia 5 qian, Raw Licorice 5 qian, Chuanxiong 5 qian, Mouse-Ear Chickweed 5 qian, White Ginger Silkworm 5 qian, Cimicifuga 5 qian, Bupleurum 5 qian, Pueraria Root 5 qian, Peppermint 5 qian, Angelica 5 qian, Rhubarb 5 qian, Forsythia 5 qian, Ginseng 3 qian, Orris Root (if unavailable, Indigo Flower may be substituted).

Processing
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills, each weighing 2 qian.

Instructions for Use
Take 1 pill per dose, chew it thoroughly, and swallow it with plain boiled water to induce sweating; if a pill is not available, take 1 qian and 2 fen of the powdered medicine and take it as described above; if not cured, take another dose, stopping once sweating begins; avoid exposure to drafts. If exposure to drafts causes swelling to recur, take the medicine again; the condition will be cured only after one layer of skin has been shed.
Note
Avoid sour and cold foods, as well as mutton, chicken, fish, and sexual activity.
