Drug Formulation
Tender Astragalus (stir-fried with honey water) 2 liang, Ginseng (root removed) 2 liang,Chuanxiong 2 liang, Poria (peeled) 2 liang, Angelica sinensis (washed with wine) 2 liang, Dried ginger (stir-fried) 2 liang, Aconite root (stir-fried in flour, peeled and navel removed) 2 liang, Fennel (stir-fried with salt and wine) 2 liang, White peony root (stir-fried with wine) 2 liang, Cinnamon bark 2 liang, Atractylodes macrocephala (root removed, lightly stir-fried) 2 liang,Black pepper 2 liang, Artemisia leaves (stir-fried with vinegar) 2 liang, Polygonum multiflorum (stir-fried with salt and wine) 2 liang, Lindera root 2 liang, Licorice (roasted) 1 liang, Cyperus rhizome (stir-fried with vinegar) 6 liang, Cinnamomum cassia (soaked in rice water, then stir-fried) 4 liang, Evodia fruit (stir-fried) 1 liang.

Processing
Coarsely chop the above ingredients; take one white-feathered black-fleshed chicken weighing 2 jin, hang it to let it die, soak it in water, remove the feathers, feces, head, and feet (discard these parts), and place it in an iron pot. Cover with the chopped herbs, add fine wine, and simmer until thoroughly tender. Remove the bones, then dry the remaining mixture with the herbs in the pot until crisp. Grind into a fine powder. Mix the chicken and wine broth with a thin rice paste to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use
Take 50 pills per dose on an empty stomach, washed down with fine wine. To treat the latter condition, first take Wu Ji San with the addition of Xiangfu, Wu Zhu Yu, and Xiao Hui, reduce the amount of Ma Huang, and add one piece of rice sugar; decoct and drink. Subsequently, take these pills.
