Wind-Dispelling and Phlegm-Resolving Pills,For the five types of epilepsy in children, at the onset when no vocalizations have yet occurred. The five types of epilepsy are: Horse Epilepsy, characterized by a sound like a horse’s neigh, with the mouth open and the head shaking; Ox Epilepsy, characterized by a fixed gaze and abdominal distension; Chicken Epilepsy, characterized by the head shaking and bending backward, with a tendency to startle; Goat Epilepsy, characterized by rolling the eyes and sticking out the tongue; and Pig Epilepsy, characterized by a tendency to drool.

Chinese Name : 祛风追痰丸

Drug Formulation

5 qian of Fangfeng, 5 qian of Bai Fuzi, 5 qian of Ku Fan,5 qian of Tianma, 2 qian 5 fen of cleaned whole scorpions (roasted to remove toxicity), 2 qian 5 fen of Mu Xiang, 1 liang 5 qian of Nanxing (soaked half in alum water and half in soapberry water overnight), 3 liang of Banxia (soaked half in soapberry water and half in ginger juice overnight), 5 qian of Zhu Ya Zao (roasted),Stiff Silkworm (cleaned, stir-fried, and de-silked) 5 qian.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a powder, form into pills with ginger juice paste, each the size of a Paulownia seed, and coat with cinnabar.
