It has the efficacy of clearing heat and detoxifying. It is used to treat alopecia, boils, and carbuncles.

Scutellaria

Scutellaria baicalensis, a traditional Chinese medicine. It is the dried root of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi, a plant in the genus Scutellaria of the Lamiaceae family.
