Liriodendron chinense, a name in traditional Chinese medicine.It refers to the roots and bark of Liriodendron chinense (Hemsl.) Sargent, a plant in the Magnoliaceae family. It is distributed in Shaanxi, Anhui, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Fujian, Hubei, Hunan, Guangxi, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, and other regions. It has the effects of dispelling wind and dampness, relieving coughs, and strengthening tendons and bones. It is commonly used to treat rheumatic joint pain, muscle weakness, and coughs caused by wind and cold.

Snakeberry

Snakeberry is the name of a traditional Chinese medicine. It is the whole plant of Duchesnea indica (Andr.) Focke, a member of the Rosaceae family. It has the effects of clearing heat and detoxifying, cooling the blood and stopping bleeding, and dispersing blood stasis and reducing swelling.It is primarily used to treat febrile diseases, convulsions, colds, dysentery, jaundice, red eyes, mouth ulcers, sore throat, mumps, boils, venomous snake bites, hemoptysis, metrorrhagia, irregular menstruation, burns and scalds, and swelling and pain from falls or blows.

Evodia

Evodia is a commonly used medicinal herb for warming the interior. It consists of the dried, nearly ripe fruits of the Rutaceae plants Evodia rutaecarpa (Juss.) Benth., Evodia rutaecarpa (Juss.) Benth. var. officinalis (Dode) Huang, or Evodia rutaecarpa (Juss.) Benth. var. bodinieri (Dode) Huang. It has the therapeutic effects of dispelling cold and relieving pain, subduing counterflow and stopping vomiting, and tonifying yang to stop diarrhea. It is used to treat Jueyin-type headaches, abdominal pain due to cold hernia, cold-damp beriberi, menstrual abdominal pain, epigastric and abdominal distension and pain, vomiting and regurgitation of acid, and early-morning diarrhea.

Uncaria

Uncaria is the name of a traditional Chinese medicine. It refers to the dried, hooked stems of the plants Uncaria rhynchophylla (Miq.) Miq. ex Havil., Uncaria macrophylla Wall., Uncaria hirsuta Havil., Uncaria sinensis (Oliv.) Havil. or Uncaria sessilifructus Roxb. The main production areas are Guangxi, Guangdong, Hunan, Jiangxi, and Sichuan. This product has the effects of calming wind and alleviating convulsions, as well as clearing heat and harmonizing the liver.
