Drug Formulation

Mulberry fruit (fire-dried) 2 liang, Polygonum multiflorum (simmered with black sesame seeds) 10 liang, wintergreen berries (stir-fried in salt water) 2 liang,Sun-dried Eclipta prostrata 3 liang, Prepared Rehmannia root 7 liang (from Huaiqing), Black glutinous rice leaves (chopped) 3 liang, Black bean skins 3 liang (without the beans), Dried eggplant flowers (separated petals) 3 liang, Black rhinoceros horn 3 liang (simmered in a copper pot with river water until a drop of the liquid forms a bead).

Processing

Use 61 jin of ash-free liquor. Place the herbs in a silk bag, submerge it in the liquor, seal the jar tightly, and simmer for the duration of three sticks of incense. Then set it on the ground to dispel the heat.

Instructions for Use

Drink as desired, at any time; it is best to add a small amount of rock salt with each serving to direct the energy into the Kidney Meridian.
