Drug Formulation
1 cardamom pod (roasted), 1 grass fruit, 1 betel nut, 1 qian of Astragalus membranaceus (pounded and honey-fried), 1 qian of Poria cocos, 1 qian of Paeonia lactiflora, 1 qian of Atractylodes macrocephala, 1 qian of Glycyrrhiza uralensis, 1 qian of Citrus reticulata, 1 qian of Pinellia ternata fermented with malt.

For children with persistent abdominal distension and repeated diarrhea, leading to debility, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, a puffy face, and vomiting when forced to eat.
Instructions for Use
Coarsely crush the ingredients. For each dose, take 2 qian with 3 small slices of fresh ginger, half a black plum, and 1 jujube. Wrap them in rattan paper, moisten the paper, and steam until fragrant and cooked through. Remove the paper, add a small cup of water, and simmer until reduced by half; strain out the residue. Adjust the taste to be palatable and take on an empty stomach before meals. Simmer both sets of residue together and combine with a decoction of minor agarwood to make pills for oral administration.
