10 pieces of autumn Aconite (large, solid ones), 2 jin of white honey, 4 liang of Cinnamon Bark.

Benefits
For cold hernia with abdominal distension, cold sensations rising from the lower abdomen, numbness in the hands and feet, or generalized body pain—cases that cannot be treated by moxibustion, acupuncture, or other medications.
Instructions for Use
First, simmer the Aconite in honey over low heat until the volume is reduced by half; remove the Aconite and set it aside. In a separate pot, boil the Cinnamon Bark in 2.5 sheng of water until reduced to 1 sheng; strain out the residue. Combine the Cinnamon Bark decoction with the reserved honey and simmer until the mixture is reduced to about 1 sheng. Take an initial dose of 2 he. If no response is felt, take another dose up to 3 he; if still no response, increase the dose to 5 he. The patient will feel as if intoxicated; if vomiting occurs, it indicates the medicine has effectively treated the condition.
Note
Avoid pork, cold water, and raw green onions.
