Drug Formulation

Ginseng (root tip removed) 1 liang, Astragalus (honey-fried) 1 liang, Soft-shelled Turtle Carapace (scaled and cleaned, fried with wine and vinegar until yellow) 1 liang, Atractylodes (roasted) 1 liang, Angelica (soaked in wine, root tip removed) 1 liang,Poria (peeled) 1 liang, Licorice (fried) 1 liang, White Peony Root 2 liang, Aconite Root (roasted, peeled and navel removed, chopped, soaked in natural ginger juice overnight, steamed twice) half a liang, Dendrobium (soaked in wine, stir-fried) half a liang, Dried Ginger (roasted, washed) half a liang, Cinnamon Bark (coarse bark removed, not exposed to fire) half a liang.

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 qian per dose. Add 1 large bowl of water, 3 slices of fresh ginger, 1 jujube, and 1 black plum. Decoct until reduced to 7 parts of the original volume, then strain out the residue. Take on an empty stomach or before meals; it may also be taken mixed with warm wine.
