Drug Formulation

2 liang Sichuan Coptis (remove stalks, slice), 2 liang Frankincense (remove oil), 2 liang Chinese Coptis, 2 liang Myrrh (remove oil), 1 liang Sanghua, 2 liang Catechu, 5 qian natural copper (calcined), 2 liang raw rhubarb, 4 liang Chenjing ink (the older, the better), 1 liang genuine bear bile,1 liang of Tianma, 3 fen of Shang Bingpian, 2 liang of Xuanhusuo, 2 fen of Musk.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Separately, use breast milk from a newborn male infant to dissolve the bear bile and mix it into pills. Coat the pills with a thousand sheets of genuine Feijin paper. Breast milk from subsequent births or from female infants must not be used.

Instructions for Use

Adults take 4–5 fen; children take half that amount. Grind into a fine powder and take with cool water; for abdominal pain and epigastric pain, grind into a fine powder and dissolve in rice wine; for unexplained swellings, boils, hemorrhoids, hand sores, leg sores, and fistulas, grind into a fine powder and apply as a poultice.
