Drug Formulation

Pinellia (washed 7 times in boiling water to remove slipperiness, then roasted) half liang; Akebia (chopped, stir-fried) half liang; Dried Ginger (roasted) half liang; Peony Root 1 liang; White Mulberry Root Bark (roasted, chopped) 1 liang.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a coarse powder. Alternatively, pound and sift them into a fine powder, then mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian bi per dose; add 1 zhan of water and a pinch of salt; decoct until reduced to 6 fen; strain and take while hot. Take 15 pills per dose, washed down with ginger tea after meals; gradually increase the dose to 20 pills.
