Drug Formulation

4 snake heads (calcined in a Jian-style tea bowl until red-hot, then quenched with 1 bowl of paper mulberry sap until dry), half a liang of processed Tiannanxing, half a liang of white Aconite, half a liang of cinnabar (ground separately), and half a liang of musk (ground separately).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder and form into pills the size of a paulownia seed using glutinous rice paste.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill per dose, dissolved in warm water; adjust the amount according to the patient’s age. Adults should take 3–5 pills in small sips, washed down with warm wine or rice porridge.
