Drug Formulation

Lactuca sativa seeds (peeled, steamed and sun-dried nine times) 1 liang; Psoralea corylifolia (soaked in wine overnight, then roasted) 1 liang; Achyranthes bidentata (soaked in wine overnight, then roasted) 1 liang; Chrysanthemum morifolium 1 liang; Asparagus cochinchinensis (core removed) 1 liang;Dodder Seed (soaked in wine overnight, pounded into cakes while moist, oven-dried, then pounded again) 1 liang, Goji Berries 1 liang, Ginseng (root tip removed) 1 liang, Cistanche (soaked in wine overnight, sliced, oven-dried) 1 liang, White Poria (peeled) 1 liang,Morinda root (core removed, used raw) 1 liang, sour jujube seeds 1 liang, cypress seeds 1 liang, Chinese yam 1 liang, raspberry fruit 1 liang, schisandra berries 1 liang, paper mulberry seeds 1 liang, aconite root (roasted, with skin and tip removed) 1 liang, cinnamon bark (coarse outer bark removed) 4 liang, raw dried rehmannia root 8 liang (finely sliced, stir-fried on a new tile until dry).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. In spring and summer, use white sand honey; in autumn and winter, use steamed jujube pulp as the binder. Add 10 high-quality walnuts (shelled) and pound them together with the medicinal mixture in a mortar to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 30 pills per dose, gradually increasing to 50 pills; take on an empty stomach or before meals, washed down with warm salted water.
