Mulberry Mantis Egg Case is a commonly used medicinal herb for consolidating semen, stopping leukorrhea, and reducing urination. It consists of the dried egg cases of the mantid insects Tenodera sinensis Saussure, Statilia maculata (Thurlberg), or Hierodula patellifera (Serville).These three species are commonly known as “Round Mantis Egg Case,” “Long Mantis Egg Case,” and “Black Mantis Egg Case,” respectively. They possess the therapeutic effects of consolidating semen, reducing urinary frequency, tonifying the kidneys, and enhancing yang energy. They are primarily used to treat nocturnal emissions, premature ejaculation, enuresis, frequent urination, and cloudy urine.

Fruit of Platycarya

Platycarya fruit, a name in traditional Chinese medicine. It is the fruit of Platycarya strobilacea Sieb. et Zucc., a plant in the family Juglandaceae.It is distributed in East China, southern Shaanxi, Taiwan, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan, Guizhou, and Yunnan. It has the effects of promoting blood circulation, regulating qi, relieving pain, and killing parasites and relieving itching. It is used to treat internal injuries causing chest and abdominal distension and pain, trauma, pain in tendons and bones, boils and swellings, damp sores, and scabies and ringworm.

Amomum

Amomum is the name of a traditional Chinese medicine. It consists of the dried, mature fruits of plants belonging to the genus Amomum in the Zingiberaceae family, specifically Yangchun Amomum (Amomum villosum Lour.), Green-shelled Amomum (Amomum villosum Lour. var. xanthioides T.L.Wu et Senjen), or Hainan Amomum (Amomum longiligulare T.L.Wu). It has the therapeutic effects of dispelling dampness and stimulating appetite, warming the spleen and stopping diarrhea, and regulating qi to stabilize the fetus.It is primarily used to treat dampness-turbidity obstructing the middle burner, epigastric fullness with loss of appetite, spleen-stomach deficiency-cold, vomiting and diarrhea, morning sickness during pregnancy, and fetal restlessness.
