Processing

Select Phellodendron with thick flesh and thin bark; remove the bark and split into strips. Soak in a mixture of water and wine until slightly permeated, then remove and cut into slices. Take half a jin of oyster shell—it must be greenish and not dried out—and roast it over a fire; remove it as soon as it turns red. Grind it into a fine powder. Divide the Phellodendron and oyster shell powder equally into four portions. Stir-fry over low heat until tea-brown; do not let it burn. Sift out the oyster shell,Use only the Phellodendron bark powder, mix it with refined honey to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian per dose on an empty stomach with boiling salted water. After taking the medicine, rub your chest and diaphragm with your hands, walk slowly for 100–200 steps, and then eat boiled rice to settle the medicine. Before taking the medicine, you will feel the urge to ejaculate; you must wait until this urge has passed before taking the medicine.

Note

Avoid sudden anger and excessive physical exertion; abstain from spicy, hot foods such as pepper and garlic, as well as sexual activity.
