Drug Formulation

Magnolia Bark (coarse bark removed, coated with ginger juice and roasted) 3 fen, Fructus Aurantii (pulp removed, stir-fried with wheat bran) 3 fen, Licorice (roasted, coarsely chopped) 3 fen, Gentiana (stems and soil removed) 1.5 liang, Aged Tangerine Peel (soaked in hot water, white pith removed, dried) 3 fen, Pinellia (washed in hot water to remove slime, processed with ginger juice) 1.5 liang,Cinnamon Bark (coarse bark removed) half liang, Ephedra (roots and nodes removed) half liang, Apricot Kernels (soaked in hot water, skin, tip, and double kernels removed, stir-fried) half liang, Scutellaria (black core removed) half liang, Gypsum (crushed) half liang, Red Poria (black skin removed) half liang, Asarum (stems and leaves removed) half liang, Euphorbia (stems removed, coarsely chopped) 1 fen.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian bi per dose, along with 3 qian of fresh ginger, 2 jujubes (split open), and 1 zhan of water. Decoct until reduced to 7 fen, strain, and take while warm, three times daily.
