Drug Formulation

4 pieces of Aconite root (each weighing 6–7 qian; raw, with skin and pith removed; hollowed out into a vessel; filled with realgar, totaling 1 liang 7 qian and a half; wrapped in a flour paste; baked until cooked; discard the flour), 3 liang and a half of Piper longum, 3 liang and a half of Frankincense (roasted), 3 liang and a half of Green Tangerine Peel, and 3 liang and a half of Coptis (roasted).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; form into pills the size of a paulownia seed using a wheat flour paste.

Instructions for Use

Take 30 pills per dose, increasing to 50 pills if necessary, and take with a decoction of fresh ginger and tangerine peel; in cases of diarrhea, take with rice water.
