Drug Formulation

1 liang of Wood Fragrance, 1 liang of Aconite Root, 1 liang of Prunus mume Seed, 1 liang of Dried Ginger, 1 liang of Tangerine Peel, 1 liang of Ophiopogon tuber, 1 liang of Cardamom, 2 liang of Roasted Artemisia, 2 liang of Soft-shelled Turtle Carapace, 2 liang of Bupleurum root, 2 liang of Shenqu, 3 liang of Magnolia bark (stir-fried with ginger water), 5 qian of Stalactite powder, and 5 qian of Cinnamon bark.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Take one male pig’s stomach, remove the fatty membrane, and cut it into fine pieces. Add 3 sheng of good-quality rice vinegar, simmer until tender, then grind into a fine paste. Mix in the powder and knead into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
