Drug Formulation

3 liang of ginseng, 3 liang of licorice (roasted), 3 liang of cinnamon bark, 3 liang of tangerine peel, 3 liang of poria, 4 liang of eucommia, 4 liang of white atractylodes, 5 liang of fresh ginger, 1 pair of sheep kidneys (fat removed, cut into four pieces), 1 pair of pork kidneys (fat removed, cut into four pieces), and 1 sheng of sliced Chinese leek.

Cut the ingredients into small pieces.

Instructions for Use

Boil in 3 dou of water until reduced to 6 sheng; strain out the residue, divide into 6 doses, take 4 during the day and 2 at night, and cover your head while sleeping.

Note

Avoid seaweed, Chinese cabbage, raw scallions, vinegar-based foods, peaches, plums, and sparrow meat.
